This is a conference held every four years, hosted in rotation by five Asian countries: the Philippines, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and Japan. It serves as a meaningful opportunity for believers and church leaders from each country to engage in fellowship, deepen their faith together, and promote cooperation in mission. In addition to the five core countries—Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Japan—participants from the United States, Australia, Macau, Taiwan, India, and Myanmar will also be joining this year. The first conference was held in 1969. Since 1985, it has been held every four years on a rotating basis among the participating countries. It has become a foundational gathering for fellowship among Evangelical Free Churches in Asia.
This year marks the 12th conference, and the first time it has been held in Japan since 1997.
